The Meizan Board (pronounced “may-zon”) is a handcrafted, Japanese cutting board created with an internal knife slot for storage and display.
Made from Hinoki cypress in Motomiya, Japan, this unique board and drying stand is a treasured gift for skilled chefs, budding home cooks and foodies alike.
The Meizan Board can also be paired with a variety of hand made, wood handled, knives from Sakai City, in Osaka, Japan.
Each Meizan Board (Patent pending) is handmade and ordered in small batches. We hold a limited quantity of boards and knives in inventory and can also process medium to large orders with some lead time.
