If my board or stand produces resin, how can it be safely removed?
During the life of your Meizan Board you may experience small amounts of resin to leak from the board or the stand. This is a natural occurrence and the product is not defective if this occurs. This harmless and slightly sticky resin can be removed easily from the board in a variety of ways. In Japan, the most common approach is to use the cloudy, water rinse from cleaning rice to soak and wipe clean the resin. You may enjoy trying this method yourself! You may also use vinegar or a fine grit sandpaper to gentley remove the resin.
